Library Card Information
The Hague Public Library has a large collection of books, CDs, CD-ROMs and DVDs, all of which can be borrowed by members of The Hague Public Library. To become a member you only need to subscribe at one of our 19 branches, and pay an annual membership fee.
To borrow from other libraries
Couldn't find what you are looking for in our collection? Titles not present in our catalogue, can be requested from other libraries that do have them available.
There are several options for this:
- IBL/ILL - Inter Library Loan
- Zoek & Boek - A large number of Dutch libraries will interchange materials at the request of their members.
- 13 onder 1 knop - 13 major libraries have combined their catalogues into a single national library and information network.
- Borrow Instantly ('Leendirect') - The biggest music collection of Europe: The Discotheek Rotterdam.
