The Hague Public Library endeavours to make its services accessible to everyone. Visitors and members who do not have the opportunity to visit the library in person can consult the catalogue, reserve and renew library materials, keep abreast of the latest additions or search the calendar for interesting activities via the library website.
E-listening & e-reading
E-Portal is a library service through which members can borrow and store electronic text- and audio books on MP3 players and computers. The library website enables members to borrow music online from the Rotterdam Music Library.
E-Library
Apart from the library’s extensive reference collections, visitors have access to a number of free digital sources of information, such as specialist websites and data bases. This service is available via the Electronic Library (Dutch: I-bibliotheek), part of the library website.
E-Newsletter
Once every month The Hague Public Library publishes an electronic newsletter containing library news and a description of the monthly highlights. Those who are interested can subscribe to the HPL Newsletter via the website.
