ArtLab: Chinese New Year

Do you like to paint and write? Join us in the new year and learn how to do so in traditional Chinese style with ink, colored paint, and rice paper!
Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, is China’s most important festival and also the most important celebration for families. Did you know it also includes a week of official public holiday? We will paint a lion, since it's the symbol of the Chinese new years celebration!
Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Workshop for Kids
In this series of workshops, you will work with Chinese materials to create your own works of art, with each class focusing on a new topic. Draw two colorful creatures, explore a famous legend, and draw the symbol of the biggest holiday in China.
