Meerkoet
A meerkoet is a black water bird that does not belong to the ducks, but to the so-called ‘rails.’ They live near fresh water, such as ponds, lakes, and canals, and they like lots of reeds and aquatic plants. You’ve probably seen them around your neighborhood!
Chinese painting workshop for kids
In this series of workshops, you will work with Chinese materials to create your own works of art, with each class focusing on a new topic. Draw a typical Dutch bird, a traditional dragon and this year's new animal of the biggest holiday in China.
