From their first line of code to complete projects, this free two-day course developed by Algorithmics School offers your child a shortcut to programming.

In this unique two-day course the children learn programming basics in Scratch, a language designed for kids. It is all about learning by having fun. Every child will enjoy it!

The children develop a storyline, also those who find concentrating difficult. Mathematical thinking is nurtured by studying the basics of programming and algorithm. The course also helps children to find their motivation by apply what they've learned in practice straight away (no tests). By the end of the two-day course the children have created the mini-project in which their little dreams have come to life.

What are the classes like?

  • In real life at the pop-up Algorithmics School in Haagse Hout Library (Bibliotheek Haagse Hout);
  • In groups of up to 12;
  • Classes last for 90 minutes with a break in the middle;
  • In English;
  • On the two dates that function as a sequence.

The course dates are Saturday 8 and Monday 10 November from  3.30 to 5 pm at Theresiastraat 195. Because it is a two-day course it is mandatory to show up at both dates when a place is booked.
