Op 14 maart: CELA

Formed by Swiss vibraphonist Antonin Jaccard and Portuguese cellist Inês Simas, CELA creates music that feels both intimate and exploratory, moving freely between composition, structure and improvisation. After years in classical percussion, Antonin is now deeply engaged in jazz as a central part of his musical path. Inês comes from a classical background, but her openness and curiosity make her at home in many different musical settings. Different paths, same drive — that’s where they meet in this duo. CELA reflects the spirit of folk, with electronics used subtly to highlight and expand the acoustic textures of the duo.
