Pecha Kucha 20x20

Een Pecha Kucha is een heel korte presentatie van 20 slides. Elke slide wordt door een spreker in 20 seconden behandeld. Iedere week kun je luisteren naar 3 verschillende creatieven die allen op hun eigen manier bezig zijn met AI-technologie. Natuurlijk kun je na elke presentatie je vragen stellen. Donderdag 8 juni, 12.00 - 13.00 uur, Studio B (verdieping 1)  
Mediakunstenaar Roos Groothuizen, multimedia maker Derk Over en onderzoeker Coert van Gemeren praten over ethische keuzes bij het gebruik van technologie en hoe AI helpt met het creëren van toekomstige esthetiek.  
  
Donderdag 15 juni, 12.00 - 13.00 uur, studio B (verdieping 1)  
Kunstenaar en AV-designer Anna Fehres, kunstenaar en Phd kandidaat Cyan Bae en muzikant Rafaele Andrade praten over AI en emotie, en het samenbrengen van de digitale en fysieke wereld.

Donderdag 22 juni, 12.00 - 13.00 uur, Studio B (verdieping 1)  
Interdisciplinair kunstenaar Nikzad Arabshahi, ontwerper Tom Vincentie en AI specialist Daan Alkemade vertellen over de manier waarop je samenwerkt met AI en de digitalisering van jezelf.

Media artist Roos Groothuizen, multimedia maker Derk Over, and researcher Coert
van Gemeren will talk about ethical choices in the use of technology and how AI
assists in creating future aesthetics.

Artist and AV designer Anna Fehres, artist and PhD candidate Cyan Bae, and
musician Rafaele Andrade will discuss AI and emotion, and the integration of
the digital and physical worlds.

Interdisciplinary artist Nikzad Arabshahi, designer Tom Vincentie, and AI
specialist Daan Alkemade will talk about collaboration with AI and the
digitization of oneself.

Roos Groothuizen

Roos Groothuizen is een onafhankelijke mediakunstenaar en
ontwerper die werkt op de grenzen van interactie, theater, interventie, web,
film, games en animatie. Wie heeft de controle over wat ik waarneem? Gefascineerd

door de oneerlijke verdeling van informatie en hoe online algoritmen ons
systematisch discrimineren, reflecteert haarwerk op diepgaand onderzoek en
recente ontwikkelingen, vaak met interactieve of spelachtige elementen.

Derk Over

Derk Over (Die/Diens) is een multimedia maker uit Utrecht die drag, fantasie-popcultuur, queerness en interactie combineert in diens werk. Derk analyseert en werkt met de fantasieën die ons op persoonlijk, gemeenschappelijk en op maatschappelijk niveau op de been houden. Derk richtte het collectief Queer Arcana op; een queer-gamer gezelschap, die voorstellingen, safe spaces, en workshops ontwerpt over het bestaan tussen queer- en gamer communities.

Derk Over is a multimedia maker from Utrecht who combines
drag, fantasy pop culture, queerness, and interaction in their work. Derk
analyzes and works with the fantasies that sustain us on a personal, communal,
and societal level. Derk founded the collective Queer Arcana, a queer-gamer
group that designs performances, safe spaces, and workshops exploring the
intersection of queer and gamer communities.

Ruben Topia

Ruben Topia's werk richt zich op de balans tussen orde en
chaos. Hij combineert Oosterse en Westerse culturen in verschillende utopische
landschappen. Hoge kunst laat ons collectief opstijgen en vertelt verhalen die
verder gaan dan taal.
